What goes wrong with AI code

I see glowing LinkedIn posts daily about vibe-coding with AI. But in practice almost every project I check has security vulnerabilities: leaking APIs, unsecured endpoints or sensitive data in the code.

AI tools like ChatGPT, Cursor and GitHub Copilot make it possible for everyone to build software: vibe coding. AI-generated code can look good, but often contains hidden issues:

• Security vulnerabilities: SQL injection, XSS attacks, exposed API keys in the code

• Privacy issues: Unintentional data leaks or GDPR violations

• Performance problems: Inefficient queries, memory leaks, or code that doesn't scale

• Outdated patterns: AI trains on old code and may use deprecated methods

Before going live, it is wise to have an experienced developer take a look. I have reviewed code for years and know where AI code typically goes wrong.

I work in two ways:

• Direct fixes: I solve the problems in your code myself (when you want to launch quickly)

• Report: you receive an overview with priorities, so you can take it from there yourself (or with AI)

Security check: I scan your code for common security issues like SQL injection, XSS, insecure authentication, and leaked API keys.
Bug detection: AI code often contains subtle bugs. I find them before your users do.
Code quality: Review of code structure, best practices, and maintainability. So your project remains workable in the long term.
Actionable report: You'll receive a clear report with priorities and concrete steps to improve your code.
