2005-2009
sebass.org was my first domain and the name I released my first software under. Windows freeware, a multiplayer game and a pile of subsites, built alongside school. Some of it never left the internet. Mp3 Folder Structure Maker is still on download portals in 2026, with sebass.org listed as the developer. This page sets out what was there, using what could be recovered from the Internet Archive.
2009
The same idea as the mp3 tool, applied to photos. Renaming and filing based on the EXIF data in the file. It appeared on New Year's Day 2009 and had a second version three days later. It never got past those two.
2008
It pulled your listening history from Last.fm and turned the album covers into a desktop wallpaper. One month between the first release and 1.0.
2007-2009
Windows freeware that refiles an mp3 collection by its ID3 tags. You scanned your music folders, typed a structure using variables like %artist%, %album% and %firstletter%, and the program copied or moved everything into that layout. Files with bad tags went into a separate list so you could fix them first. From v1.00 you could save a structure as a profile. Written in C# on .NET Framework 2.0 and tested on Windows 2000, XP and Vista. Of the final release only the installer filename survives, setup_mp3fsm_1211.exe. This is the program sebass.org became known for. In 2026 it is still listed on download portals I never submitted it to.
2007
A second multiplayer game, announced on games.sebass.org with the note that it would be downloadable soon. That never happened. What is left of it is the v0.5 main menu.
2006-2007
A multiplayer dogfight for Windows. You flew a biplane, kept it up with left and right, fired with the spacebar and dropped a bomb with the zero on the numpad once you had that powerup. Client and server shipped in the same download, so anyone could host. In February 2007 it was pulled off my own server 2228 times. Uptodown now has the counter past nine thousand.
2008
A page where you could commission a script. The specialities were PHP, MySQL and Javascript with AJAX. Under the heading of what was not on the menu, alongside ASP and CGI, sat web design: I am a scripter not a designer. This is the earliest version of what is now Enkodo.
2006
A photo service for the PlayStation Portable, at pspid.sebass.org. You uploaded your photos and could then browse them on the handheld itself.
2005-2008
Separate sites on their own subdomains. Statsview.nl kept visitor statistics for other websites. GameCheats collected Dutch game cheats and let visitors submit their own. On polaroid.sebass.org a digital photo came back as a polaroid, on ascii.sebass.org that same photo came back as ASCII art and fontlol.sebass.org turned a piece of text into an image in the typeface of your choice.
2005
The domain itself, online since 2005 under the heading Software, Websites, Mobile and More with my name at the foot of every page. Hand-written PHP with its own news system, a comment form under each post and a bug tracker where people could file reports without an account. Rebuilt in 2008 with a Dutch menu. The news stopped in early 2009.
